Basic Information

Hamrick Group tours offers the best in group travel. We offer motorcoach charter service and plan tours for individual travelers for our pre-planned tours as well as churches, schools, senior adult groups and others.

General Tour Information

Business Hours: We are available to answer your questions Mon-Fri 10:00 am - 5:30 pm. Many answers can be found on our website and we encourage you to look through our FAQs and travel resources first before reaching out with your questions. You can email us at hamrickgrouptours@gmail.com or message us on our Facebook Page.
Reservations: Reservations are accepted on a first come - first serve basis. You must register on our website for the tour. Visit our tour page to reserve your spot. If a tour is sold out when you call, we'll be happy to put you on a waiting list in the event we have a cancellation. 
Deposit Requirements:
 All tours require a deposit within 7 days of the date the reservation is made. Below are the deposit amounts (per person). Payment of a deposit will indicate acceptance of all herein mentioned information and conditions by the purchaser.

  • One Day Tours: Requires full payment

  • Tours from $200-$500: $100 deposit

  • Tours from $501-$1000: $150 deposit

  • Tours from $1001-$2000: $200 deposit

Balance: Your tour balance is due on all 1-3 day tours 30 days prior to departure. Balance is due on all 4+ day tours 45 days prior to departure.
Payments: We accept check or money orders made out to Hamrick Group Tours. You can mail them to 169 West Melissa Lane, Forest City, NC 28043. We no longer accept cash due to deposit restriction updates at our bank. Please make sure to include the name of your tour and date with your check. Any NSF charged for return checks will be charged back to the traveler and could result in not being able to pay by check in the future.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are costly for our company in both time and money. Penalties begin 45-60 days prior to the beginning of the tour. If you must cancel  tour, you may find something to fill your seat and Hamrick Group Tours will make every effort to fill your spot. If we are able to fill your spot you will receive a full refund. If we are not able to fill your spot, the amount of the penalty will depend on the penalties we have to pay to hotels, attractions and transport providers. If for any reason Hamrick Group Tours cancels a tour, you will receive a full refund.
Travel Insurance: We do not sell travel insurance but we do highly recommend it. You may go to www.travelinsurance.com or contact a company of your choosing. 
Final Travel Documents: You will receive your final travel documents by mail approximately 7-10 days prior to departure. For one day tours, you will be notified of departure times and locations by email or phone.
Luggage: One large suitcase of no more than 45 lbs. and one carry bag per person is allowed on the bus. If you have special medical needs (wheelchair, etc.) please let us know ahead of time or when registering.
Seating:
We do not reserve or assign seats on the motorcoach. You must sit with your traveling partner if traveling together. If traveling single, you may need to share a seat with another passenger. DOT regulations prohibit smoking and alcoholic beverages aboard the motorcoach.
Responsibility: Hamrick Group Tours, LLC acts as an agent for the passengers in matters pertaining to transportation, accommodations, sightseeing and other services and cannot assume any liability or responsibility for any loss, damage or injury to person or property, mechanical failure of any nature, howsoever caused - substitution of carriers, accommodations, sightseeing or attractions with or without advance notice. No carrier shall have or incur any responsibility or liability to anyone taking these tours. Hamrick Group Tours reserves the right to decline or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time.
